The typing on iPad is hard because the keyboard take half the screen space. A perfect feature for Typefinity would be to be able to receive input from other devices, like using an iPhone to type and see the text being written on iPad. You need to do the following:
1 - allow to install the Typefinity keyboard on both iPhone and iPad with the same login
2 - allow the keyboard to connect via wifi to any other typefinity keyboard running on other devices with the same user logged in.
3 - allow to open the keyboard on ipad or iphone, but set it in 'remote mode'. In this mode the keyboard does not occupy more than just one line of space at the bottom, with just the essential buttons to switch keyboard or exit remote mode. The screen above will be fully visible so people can write more easily.
4 - on the other device add the option to use the keyboard in the configuration app (no need to open the keyboard in other apps), and activating a connect to remote device listing automatically all devices with the same user logged in in the wifi lan. Once you choose the receiving device, the keyboard will be sending its input to the other keyboard on the other device.
5 - add option to remember frequent pairings for easy setup. For example iPhone keyboard remotely writing on iPad keyboard.
6 - Do not limit the devices types. For example An iPad Mini can be used as remote keyboard to write to a receiving keyboard on an iPad Pro. Just remember to keep and use the keyboard configuration data for the remote mode in addition to the normal configuration data, one config for each target device, and automtically switch to it when the remote mode is activated. The local configuration can be very different since you are writing on another device that uses differeent apps!
7 - This way old apple mobile devices now too slow to do anything good can be recycled as touch keyboards.
8 - Wifi should be fast enough to type in sync, but if it is too slow you can use bluetooth like the wireless keyboards.
9 - Enjoy a touch screen wireless keyboard without buying a physical wireless keyboard.
